A Victorian Festival of Christmas 2009

A Victorian Festival of Christmas has now taken place and what a great weekend it was!

We welcomed in excess of 28,000 visitors over three days, making this one of the busiest years since it began in 2000.

Visitors flocked to the festival from all over the country, enjoying all the traditions of a Victorian Christmas, including snow, carols, street entertainment and of course the odd festive tipple or two!

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard would like to thank everyone who attended and took part in the event, helping to make it a 10th anniversary to remember!
